The 2009-2011 strategic plan for the Human Concerns committee outlines the following goals:

GOAL #1: Create programs & activities that focus on the unmet needs within our parish community.

Measure(s) of Success:  Increasing numbers of parish members (including our youth) are involved in activities designed to support the poor.

GOAL #2: Educate committee members and members of the parish on the purpose of the Human Concerns committee and issues related to Human Concerns.

Measure(s) of Success:  Information related to Human Concerns is accurate & accessible, Human Concerns Committee members have the information needed to guide decision-making & actions

GOAL #3: Increase awareness and unmet needs within our community and world

Measure(s) of Success:  Parish members actively support programs serving the poor and respecting life

GOAL #4: Engage in Prayer and Ecumenical Service

Measure(s) of Success:  Increasing numbers of parish members are brought together for prayer & service related to human needs

GOAL #5: Become a sacrificial parish
