High school Faith nights will meet the first 3 Sundays of every month October through April.

Our CYO (Catholic Youth Oshkosh) Mass is at 5:00pm, and the Faith Nights end at 7:30pm. There is time for food and fellowship between the Mass and the Faith Night. Our Sunday evening events are held at the Lourdes High School Commons.   Because the homilies for our Masses will be our main teaching for the topic of each evening, it is required that the high school teens attend both the Mass and the Faith Night each week.  Parents and families are always welcome to join us at our Mass!

The 4th Sunday of each month, our high school students will meet for a parish-based teaching Mass.  These teaching masses will count toward total attendance.  Check out the 2009-2010 RE Schedule for information about when and where these Masses will be.

Unlike the middle and elementary programs, we do not have make up work for students who are absent. However, regular attendance at faith formation classes Freshman and Sophomore year is required as a pre-requisite for our Confirmation preparation program.

Our attendance policy states that teens will have to attend a total of 30 class sessions* and have entered their Junior year in order to be eligible for Confirmation. This policy will apply to all incoming Freshmen, and will be modified for this year's Sophomores and Juniors as follows:

  • This year's Freshmen (and all incoming Freshmen) will need to attend a total of 30 sessions and have entered their Junior year before they will be eligible for Confirmation.
  • This year's Sophomores will need to attend a total of 15 sessions and have entered their Junior year of high school before they will be eligible for Confirmation.
  • This year's Juniors and Seniors are currently eligible to begin Confirmation prep, but are required to attend Sunday night Faith Nights on the weeks they are not attending Confirmation preparation classes.

*A full year of attendance at a Catholic High School is also an acceptable way to meet this pre-requisite for Confirmation.
